Ricky was born and raised in the suburbs of the East Bay. He now lives in Oakland.

 

  He grew up during the era of internet blogs and online communities. This led to his fascination with the seemingly endless repetition of information, images, audio, and visuals.

 

  In Ricky's work, he re-interprets media and how it intersects with themes of human connection, personal and shared lived experience, and collective unconsciousness.
